Scope

The project entailed the construction of:

  • A dual-lane concrete boat ramp, allowing for efficient and safe boat launching and retrieval.
  • A 26-bay trailer parking facility to accommodate increased visitor demand.
  • Sheet pile cofferdam construction for the ramp, ensuring safe and dry excavation within the waterway.
  • Dual launch ramps with pontoon access for easy and safe boarding.
  • Accessible footpaths, designed to meet the needs of all users, including those with disabilities.
  • Installation of 120 meters of stormwater drainage, ensuring effective water management within the site.
  • Integration of a new OceanSave® gross pollutant trap to capture pollutants, preserving water quality and protecting the surrounding marine environment.

Our Solution

The Conjola Park Boat Ramp project was successfully completed with no environmental incidents, despite the challenges of working in an ecologically sensitive area. The new facility has significantly improved boat access and parking for locals and visitors, while incorporating sustainable practices like the OceanSave® gross pollutant trap to protect the waterway.
