Milton Showgrounds Drainage and Pavement Upgrade
Jirgens Civil was engaged by Shoalhaven City Council to undertake essential upgrades at the historic Milton Showgrounds. This project focused on enhancing the infrastructure of the showgrounds by improving its drainage and pavements, ensuring the site remains functional and resilient for future events and activities. The project involved comprehensive civil works, including both bulk and detailed excavation, the installation of a new stormwater drainage system, and the construction of 850m² of concrete pavements. The drainage upgrade was designed to improve water management within the showgrounds, reducing the risk of waterlogging and ensuring better durability of the grounds. The concrete pavements were installed to provide improved access and functionality for the community and eventgoers.
